How do you get started in the profitable and enjoyable business of blogging for gold? It's free to start and easy to do... so how do you make money?You don't have to invest a single cent. There are any number of free blogger sites. Just Search Google for them. When you set up your blog use relevant keywords in the blog-title. Make it easy for people to discover exactly what your blog is about. To improve your search engine listing you can create a number of blogs with similar but different keywords phrases in their titles, and then link all the blogs together. You will be covering more of the keywords that people will be searching for and you'll be creating back-links between the blogs.

Put affiliate links on your blog. Your visitors click through these links, buy the product or products you're promoting, and earn you a commission on every sale. You can add Google's ad sense code into your blog so that their adverts are displayed on your blog page and you'll get paid whenever one of your visitors clicks through... but since each click is only worth a few cents this won't generate much money unless you're getting hundreds of thousands of visitors every day

You'll make more money if you use your blog as a list-building capture device. You will certainly have to spend more time, effort and money setting up a capture page, an auto responder and a series of follow-up messages. You'll also need some kind of free gift to get people to give you their email address and name so there's the added work of creating a mini-ebook or free e-course. But building a list of subscribers who've come to you through a blog that targeted their niche interest, is certainly the most profitable way to monetize your blog.

Just get started! Have a go and see what you can do. Your Blog doesn't have to be perfect but if you make a start you'll be in a much better position to learn how to improve it. This goes for making money with your blog too. Try different things.. because not every method will work for every niche. The key is to try things and to test their effectiveness.
